Beer/Liquor

The Merc offers various spirits in our liquor department. We have many different whiskies to choose from including American, Canadian, and Irish. We also offer cognacs, bourbon, and scotches. We have many vodkas, flavored vodkas, gins, and rums. The Merc also carries specialty liquors such as Jagermeister and a variety of both tequilas and top-shelf tequilas.Newly introduced in 2007, was True North Vodka from Grand Traverse Distillery.Local vodka hand-crafted with local ingredients from northern Michigans fields and orchards.True North Vodka has recently introduced cherry flavored vodka to their product line.

During the summer months, we have a hard time keeping the beer shelves and coolers full. We offer the most popular domestic and imported beers and even a few obscure beers also. We have both macro-brews and many micro-brews, and one of our newer arrivals has local ties to the area. We have recently started to carry two products from Leelanau Brewing Company, two unique brews featuring beautiful labels showcasing the surrounding area. We also carry a variety of Michigan crafted beers.

We do not keep kegs in stock everyday, but are able to order both half-barrels and quarter-barrels with about a one-week notice for parties and events.
