Our deli department has so much to offer, whether you are looking for soup or sandwiches, pizzas, or microwavable ready-to-eat meals, we have a list of items and ideas for you. Our lunch specials include hot sandwiches, chili cheese dogs, bratwurst, and cheeseburgers every work day of the week, and two homemade soups every day of the week. We have rotisserie chickens available almost every night and full slabs of ribs on Friday and Saturday nights. We have take & bake pizzas available as cheese, pepperoni, meat lovers, deluxe, and a pesto with spinach and artichoke. We offer many pasta salads, potato salads, deli salads, and fresh salsas, bruschettas, olives, and much more. We have pre-packaged deli meats and deli meats that we slice and package in store daily. We make our own signature roast beef, and have a variety of spreads and dips for both parties and snacks.

The Merc has a specialty cheese case full of unique and flavorful cheeses waiting to be paired with your wine selection or fruit plate. We offer cheese from all over the world and even as close as our own Leelanau County. We carry Leelanau Cheese's famous raclette and herbed cheese spreads. We also recently started carrying a fleur de la terre from Traders Point Creamery in Indiana which has local ties to Leland. Our cheese selection in our deli department exists to offer the customer a step up from the average grocery store cheese. These cheeses are some of the finest and flavorful you can find, and should be added to everybody's grocery list.

In addition to our existing soup and sandwiches, we have added more hot deli items to our lunch menu.We are now offering 8pc. fried chicken dinners and chicken pieces sold individually.We have chicken tenders, buffalo chicken tenders, french fries, eggrolls, mac & cheese wedges, macaroni & cheese, twice-baked potatoes, chicken nuggets, and many more items, the menu is always evolving.
